SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

For photos of SEPA's previous paint outs, click on this link: SEPA photos

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

Ballinkeele House

Newtownbarry House & Gardens

Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)

Rosslare Harbour Lagoon

Tinahely

Wexford Beaches

Wexford Gardens

The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

It's been such dire weather lately it would put years on ya. Plus motivation levels at zero for me at the moment with the shite dark dank dreary depressing days. Think I must have that S A D sunlight deficiency thing lol

Thanks MFA for posting here. Having participated in Paint Annapolis 2015 I can't recommend this Event highly enough ! If anyone has any questions from the Participation side of things, please feel free to ask. It's a fantastic opportunity for any artist, and I hope that anyone who thinks they might like to go, will apply and open themselves to the possibility. There is wonderful support for us over there, and of course Plein Air Artists are friendly the world over :)

Hello Wexford area artists! Paint Annapolis is a plein air competition and exhibition held in Annapolis, Maryland, USA and hosted by the Maryland Federation of Art. Wexford and Annapolis are sister cities so each year it is guaranteed that one artist from Wexford will be accepted into Paint Annapolis. Paint Annapolis 2016 takes place May 30-June 12 and it is open for entry until February 16th. We hope that some of you are able to enter and potentially make the trip out to join us for a great week of painting! More information can be found at this link http://mdfedart.com/portfolio/paint-annapolis/ and I am happy to answer any questions here or via email at info@mdfedart.org. We wish you the best!
