Event Description

In case we all get snowed in, over the next few days, I thought we could keep our third Nocturne in mind. Next Thursday night, from whenever it gets dark...wherever you are. A "pastoral scene" was suggested for this one ( by the light of the moon), which will be easier if you live out of town. Keep an eye on this page for a possible meet-up venue, if the weather improves.... Good luck everyone!!

Comment by Tony Robinson on November 25, 2010 at 11:15: 'Available light' takes on a whole new meaning when you are standing in front of 'Disco' Scannell. With those latex gloves on I looked like I ws doing an impression of Al Jolson! Or perhaps an NYPD 'eye in the sky'? I was half expecting a SWAT team to absail onto the quay at any minute. I'll be the one doing a nocturne with my shades on.
As for mince pies, I'm sure T. Morris has them....I think. They do Irish coffee and hot whiskey anyway. Not sure about the meths & vin de pays?

Comment by Kevin Freeney on November 25, 2010 at 10:54: Read that but I think I'll stick with the available light i.e. the street lighting which I was under last time. We'll have to try a pastoral nocturne sometime, when I will need some kind of headlamp. Must have a word with my miner buddies.
