I stood in a Farmers field for two hours painting this scene, it was cold-two degrees but very peaceful, all you could hear was cockerels crowing and birds singing with the odd motor cycle passing by at speed on the Country lane. When I finished painting my jeans were soaking wet up to my knees, the place were I was standing was like a bog.
As I was painting, two walkers (Ladies) stopped to chat with me one of them said that her husband also paints, I gave her my card and asked her to ask her husband to give me a call…he did and we have been out a number of times painting Plein Air…the way to go.
