"Life is for living and should be joyful. I enjoy painting and the challenges it brings. My work focuses on positive emotions rather than the depressive and negative aspects of life. Through the use of colour and space, on the canvas, I wish to enable the viewer to share a fresh and positive experience." Neil Carrigan.
Your own work is fab Neil - I liked your sunshiny colours in your Portugal Paintings in particular and the Bog Oak painting especially. You are a natural colourist - well done! I shall look up 'Carmichal' - thanks Neil - and best of luck with your painting! Liz
Sent your latest message on to Claire so now its over to her.
Aah - txt from Claire. She says that's all near her and she will call down in the a.m. So it looks like that's the end of one beautiful friendship and hopefully the beginning of another.
If you're in Wexford I'll buy you a drink. Have a good day painting.
Claire Cox of PENorthEast would love to join you. she will be on holiday in Gweedore on Sunday. she's minus internet there so I am doing go-between. She would like to know where and when you expect to be in Gweedore or how she might contact you. Have a great day.
I am way behind on seeing the comments page! I will have to look up your area of Ireland. After the AITO this year, which I am very excited to be able to come to, I am going to travel west before I leave. At least that is the plan at the moment. Your area sounds lovely.
Thanks, Neil. I will pass the information on to my niece. I will be really interested to see what they end up deciding to do when they are in Ireland. Thanks too for the nice comments on my work!
