Your Site For Artists Who Paint Outdoors

Now that Autumn has passed and we enter Winter, haven't been outside much doing many paintings.  However I was lucky enough to be given a couple of commissions lately and the one posted here is my favourite of the pair.  It is of my favourite building in Wexford - the Franciscan Friary, which I have painted many times from various angles, but this is the iconic view from the bottom of Mary Street: and I believe is on its way to someone for Christmas.  I was very happy with the result as it was rendered again without any under drawing.

This is really nice Kevin, Your Water-colours work equally well whether they are structured with pencil or directly painted , both have the Kevin touch !.  For me this one is quite amazing as the details look to be impossible to achieve without pre planning. You are gifted with your talent in drawing. the roof of the bell-tower is stunning. what size is the painting?
