Perhaps 'break' is not the right word judging by the amount of work you got done. Are you sure you were wise to leave Patricia all that much free shopping-time? Guess that explains the 'early morning light's and the 'harbour at evening's, huh? Great stuff, Paul. Coool!

Mostly when I do a still life---but I have done interiors, standing near a door or window to get light just catching edges or washing across the floor---I think it's all good, painting on site.

Are you pulling pots AND painting everyday

I usually defer to Michael M. or your good self on such matters of P.A. theology but as long as your trouser legs weren't tucked inside your socks at the time, I think its okay.
My manual suggests, helpfully, you could try rushing outside every couple of minutes to get a big gulp of air, just to be sure.

After college I went to Sweden on a Coras Trachtala Design Award - mass production. No jobs really in that so I drifted into teaching. Later I did an MA in History of Art and now just paint.
