Mainly a "watercolour artist", my paintings are representational works of the ordinary streets, countryside and coastal areas that surround us daily. My passion is for painting buildings and boats and I love to find that unusual viewpoint of familiar places. I also enjoy drawing very much.😊

"Congrats John on your runner-up award for your painting of farmyard at Rush, well done. This one of Howth is my favourite of your three posts. Very nice sky and also like your Martello tower. Hope to see you at AITO soon."

We were thinking of Duncormack for next Sunday. But there are no facilities there. So we are now thinking if Wellington Bridge where there is a petrol station with toilet and a pub for lunches. Coffee can be got in the petrol station etc. And from there go out the road about 5 mins and there is a parking place where we can paint the estuary and the castle across the river. What do you think?
