Up the Glen near Glenties, Co. Donegal

Painted on a gloomy Sunday as Donegal played Down and the whole of Donegal was either at the game or watching on T.V. Hardly a car passed me as I sat painting in mine, parked on the ditch with a wonderful landscape in front of me when the rain finally stopped
