Thanks Sean - those reflections were put in, scraped out, put in again and dont know how often I tried to get them right but the reflections of the trees seemed too dark so in the end I just get fed up and softened everything !

Beautiful painting  with the water giving a strong path for the eye to follow.   Love the subtle reflections.

Thanks Alison, I was out in Slane on sat but got no painting done so when the sun came out yesterday I had to get out but it was amazing after a few weeks away from painting how I felt lost in where to start !
