Done during a drizzly morning while sheltering under in a very shallow doorway, wishing I had my brolly as well.

You have really caught that glaring light on a grey day when you feel you need sunglasses as the light from that overcast sky is so much brighter than we would imagine, a great painting Kevin

Wonderful Kevin, overall it is soft  and mellow with almost subliminal suggestions of sunshine, rain and heat, beautifully rendered that. Lovely composition too, I love the trees on the right and the reflection of the pole in the wet ground.
