Yesterday's plein air painting during my 'solo' paintout - Saturday's original date was changed due to weather. This was painted from the carpark itself - handy as I had to shelter a few times during the session

Comment by John Dinan on June 26, 2013 at 11:00: Thanks Caroline -it's oils - and believe it or not, there was very little 'invention' on this particular painting - I pulled in the arch of the bridge as it was actually a bit further left (out of painting actually), but otherwise it was all right in front of me. I need to do plenty of additional finishing work to bring it to a completed stage - it joins many more such unfinished paintings lying in my studio!
