Thank you John and Sheila, yea was very happy with this one.
My favourite of your most recent paintings Kevin.
That’s a beauty Kevin, congrats on the sale!
Thank you Norah. Delighted to say it sold today at the AITO exhibition. Missed you somehow at Artramon on Tuesday, did you come down any other day?
It is widely thought that with watercolour you can slap it on and hope for the best any maybe that works for some, but I have found you need a quiet zone you make around you and then absorb the scene - you did that beautifully with sensitivity combined with discipline
Ah thank you Sally. Yea I was very happy with it as it was quite tricky and gave me a great lesson in patience waiting for each wash to dry. Don't think the photo really does it justice though.
Kevin this is truly beautiful AND skilled. Wonderful control of your tones. Very sensitive.
Kyrle thank you so much for your kind comments. Really enjoyed our meetings for coffee and chat the last few days, it was great meeting you. Tend to agree with you about this one, it just seemed to work.
That Is a beauty Kevin, my favourite of yours so faR.
