10" x 12" oil panel. The last bales of a glorious summer. Painting with Margaret Kent, finishing off in the Vine Cottage pub, Saltmills, to catch the last half hour of the All-Ireland Hurling Final between Kilkenny and Tipperary. A good day all round!

I love these round barns and often wonder why they don't feature more frequently as subject matter...this is a lovely painting Tony... Was there a yellow under painting ?
