Fanore, Co.Clare

Concentrating on one focal point and not all the lovely grasses that were in the foreground which took some discipline for me but thans to Valerie Craig for not letting me wander !

Ah, so this is Co. Clare! Ireland in the summertime must be a sight! I would love to visit, especially Co.Clare. Is this anywhere near Six Mile Bridge?

Thank you for the comments - I loved those foreground grasses and didnt get time to do do another one with these as the focal point, such a great year for grass even if it did rain so much !

Norah, a great body of work, and this one is just magical ,love it.

Great work from Clare Nora. Thanks for your comments re my Delvin paintings. Yes I loved it in the bog

around Delvin. I will have to go up again as it's not that far for me to travel. After the paint out I went to

Fore and had an amazing few hours there. I climbed the rocky hill and the views were breathtaking. I think
it is defenitely a possible location for a paint out and it is not really much further than Delevin.

This is a beauty Norah. As Sean says the zig zag and its continuation in the ridge on the mountain.  Nice shadow on the mountain.  And the understated grasses in the foreground - wanted to do that in Delvin Bog but couldn't do it so hat off to you.

well done Norah, it's lovely,

That's a good painting, Norah - the eye goes straight to the focal area. I've heard the foreground area of a painting described as the "no fly zone", as in keep out of there! So you definitely did the right thing by keeping this area understated.

Another good one but hey I do like your grassses

Love your zig-zag lead-in.      Very impressive composition, Norah
