It was fun to paint during the open air concert in the National Heritage Park yesterday. Great to get a chance too to talk to some of my favourite singer/songwriters, including Declan O' Rourke and John Spillane. This was my first of the day. It was mostly overcast, but the sun came out for a few minutes, hitting the tents over the barbecue and bar area, so I went for that, keeping everything else a bit subdued.

Thanks Alison. It was a fun day.

I forgot to say that the most difficult challenge here was to resist that almost irrestible aroma of barbecue steak wafting in my direction! Isn't plein air painting difficult enough!
Thanks Nuala. Sometimes a plan comes together!
