You played down the wooded foreground in favour of the focal point

-the rugged and well rendered Derryclare mountain. Super watercolour.

They’ll make great paintings Kyrle.   I know how you feel about the running around. I can never remember how to find a particular “spot”. But funny enough l do usually hit it sooner or later. And even if you don’t happen to find it that day there’ll always be something.

Thanks for your kind words Sally, these sketches will do for working up some bigger versions I hope, It was a great paint-out. I'll do better next time now that I know where things are. Most of my time was spent running around like a child in a sweet shop gasping at the scenery!
