Great Work Sally.......I lost a fine salmon at that location about 30 years ago........the reflections are stunning

Thanks for your comments Ayfer. Don't think I'd make it to Belfast. That sounds like a very good idea - the st;studio etc. visits. I saw your Bath entries and love the Cathedral especially.

I like the abstracted quality of it, the bold shapes well handled.Thats a superb painting Sally - the reflections and sense of surface light are brilliant - good work.

Those reflections are really well done, Sally. One thing to avoid though is dividing your painting equally in two, such that half is water and half land or half land/half sky etc. As far as I know the reason for not doing so is that it tends to confuse the viewer as to what the artist is trying to draw his/her attention to.
