It's amazing how quiet this site gets during AITO! Looks like everyone has been painting in Wexford last week! This was my first painting of the festival. On an overcast afternoon with frequent passing showers in Bunclody, I found myself immediately to the interesting patterns in the water here.

Comment by Michael McGuire on August 7, 2013 at 16:59: Thanks Sean. Yes, I know what you mean, but there's a fine balance in catching the illusion of moving water between making the brushwork too defined and just having a muddy mess. I think I just stopped short of the latter this time!
