SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

Comment by Karen Scannell on September 3, 2011 at 12:28: Courtown, Ferns, Leighlin Bridge,Cahore, Aughrim, Clara Lara, and Carnew have all been suggested for Sunday, or a later date. i think as people don't seem to mind, we'll stick with Courttown. I know the harbor area is quiet nice, there's a chipper etc. If anyone knows anything about the surrounding area, please let us know...

There's a chance of rain in late afternoon, so i guess the sooner we get started on Sunday, the better!

North Wexford, might benefit some of our crew that travel down to us regularly, Courttown perhaps? as the tourist season is panning out. All suggestions welcome, and we'll try to make a decision by Thursday.

There was a "whisper" last Sunday, of possibly painting in Wexford, next paint out, as a "warm up"......what are your thoughts?
