SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

For photos of SEPA's previous paint outs, click on this link: SEPA photos

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

Ballinkeele House

Newtownbarry House & Gardens

Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)

Rosslare Harbour Lagoon

Tinahely

Wexford Beaches

Wexford Gardens

The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

Could someone please send a link to a google map for Ballycross?

I missed the last one there. If its a half-decent day, I'll go as well.

Ballycross sounds good. I think the weather will be OK!

How about Ferns and Ferns Castle?  At least the castle has a tea room, toilets, and shelter from the rain (if the forecast is off!)

I think tomorrow may be dry but cold in the South East, Karen. Latest forecast is that rain will be confined to Ulster and North Leinster, but rain will spread everywhere from the West in the evening/overnight. If it's dry, I'd be up for a paint-out somewhere local.
