SEPA is an association of amateur and professional painters who paint together regularly outdoors in S.E. Ireland. All artists are welcome. SEPA organises Ireland's 'Art in the Open' plein air festival. SEPA membership is free. NB. As with all Paint-Outs posted on Plein Eire, these events are simply notifications of intent by one individual to be at a particular place and time to paint. Each member's participation is entirely at his/her own risk. No responsibility for harm or loss of person or property on the part of anyone else is intended or implied.

For photos of SEPA's previous paint outs, click on this link: SEPA photos

Here are a few ideas for paint-out venues. Please add your own suggestions and we'll get a schedule together for the coming weeks. Your addfitional recommendations welcome.

Ballinkeele House

Newtownbarry House & Gardens

Dunamore Wood (Borodale) (no facilities)

Rosslare Harbour Lagoon

Tinahely

Wexford Beaches

Wexford Gardens

The Still Pond, near Enniscorthy

As ever, it is weather permitting, so in case the organiser needs to cancel, please indicate by RSVP for each event so a single message will let everyone know if an event is 'On' or 'Off'.

In particular, it seems smaller villages where we have access to coffee and a bite and a chance to say'hello' are sought-after venues. Here are some suggestions:

Lovely day in memory of Don Maier RIP.. The weather was very kind to us. Delighted to be a part of it.

Thanks Karen. Tony did it for me this time, but I think I understand it now, so should be able to do it myself next time.

Just saw your query, Michael re: messaging members...once an event is posted, copy the link address, then message all the group here, ( in the send message to group option).. you can paste the link address in that message..

Ideally, "friend" all members of the group, that way, when you post an event, it will automatically give you the option to  send an invite to all your "Friends"..

I've just posted it, Tony.

If you'll be good enough to post the event, Michael, I'll certainly notify the group.
