great news they make a rough version of this sketchbook too
its the one with the red boinding, I find that it is so different to their sheets it could be a different paper, Its great for ink, pastel, acrylic watercoloir and I have even primed pages with mid tome acrylic and done oils in it .........I wouldn't travel without one..and you are right , the price for 50 sheets is amazing
I am waiting on a 2 rivers sample pack will let you know how I get along

I will order some and try them out. The 2 rivers is a lovely soft handmade paper, quite different from Waterford. I used it years ago but as I posted quite expensive now. When I used to buy it it was £3.50 per sheet. Look forward to reading how you get on with it. Regards Joe

THE SHEETS OF PAPER ARE MORE EXPENSIVE , i DON'T USE THEM FOR MY WORK AS i FIND THEY DON'T TAKE SECOND AND THIRD GLAZES VERY WELL'
FOR A FINISHED PAINTING i ALWAYS USE "ARCHES 300LB NOT" AND I KEEP THE SKETCHBOOKS AS REFERENCE BOOKS
thanks for the info - I got a batch of 200lb saunders via Jacksons on the internet and it is lovely to use, the 300lb I found absorbed a lot of colour as the painting seemed to fade but maybe that was my poor colour mixing - the 200lb seems to be working better (I used it in wexford) - but I think it was much more expensive than your sketch book.
