Hello there, my name is Ray Forkan, erst while member of Plein Eire West (forgive me, forgive me). I'm now located somewhere in the middle of the country. Are there groups around here? I haven't found one yet? I'd be very interested in meeting up with people. I'll be going out as much as possible this year, usually not on Sundays but I'm open to conversion.... Get in touch here if you are in the region... I look forward to meeting you soon,

I will be staying on after AIO to paint as much as I can while in Ireland. Tony Robinson suggested I contact this group to see if you know of places and people to connect with for my painting excursions. Any and all suggestions are very much welcome. Thanks.

Here's an idea from Plein Air Artist's Don Maier which some groups may be interested in taking up. Especially with the autumn well underway it could be a good idea to keep your Plein Eire group in touch through the winter months.

i'm off on hols to kilarney, co kerry next week and i was wondering if anyone knew of any particulary good plein air painting spots in the surrounding areas? was thinking of maybe the gap of dungloe or torc waterfall. has anyone been anywhere in the area that worked out particularly well or more importantly particularly badly. or has anyone any other ideas of good spots to crack out the spray paint?
