I'll let Marko reply to you about the event, Svetlana. But just letting you know that it's best if the group travelling from Ireland travels together on the same flight (so that we can share the bus from the airport). The best flight seems to be the early morning Aer Lingus one to Berlin (around 7-00 am I think). There were seven of us last year - only three this year so far including yourself - keep in touch.

That sounds good what you are saying - and we have this year the special offers to paint on an old boat and to have boattrips to interesting locations

Sounds great, Marko! I think the switch to Himmelpfort is good. It's a beautiful place and, since it seems to attract a lot of visitors, should offer better opportunities for sales during the week (prior to the exhibition).

For anyone reading this and who hasn't participated in this event previously, I just want to add that I can't recommend it highly enough. I participated in the inaugural event in 2014 and again in 2015, both of which were based in the nearby village of Altthymen. I've been to Himmelpfort a couple of times too, so I am familiar with the area and it really is a plein air painter's paradise. So, if you want a week of uninterrupted painting and a chance to talk to other like-minded artists over dinner each evening, then this event is for you.

BTW, Marko, I think the board-only option for non-vegetarians is a good idea. But, even though I'm a committed carnivore, I think I'll stick with the vegetarian food again. It really was excellent last year and I certainly never felt hungry. Also, I think there is something very special about the group dinner every evening and I wouldn't want to miss out on that.
